It would be easy for others to say what you’re doing now is stupid. In fact, I agree. Putting myself in your shoes, however, I guess I’d somehow be able to understand why you’re doing it. It IS a big issue what happened on that fateful day. Btw, how’s your hand? Got further medical attention for that?

I do not know where you’re now, but I hope you would be found soon. It’s not that I’m being mean or anything. I feel it’s better to get things over and done with, sooner rather than later. No doubt you’ll be going in – that’s for sure. But now that you’re doing this, you’ll definitely be inside longer than if you hadn’t. You now have TWO issues to face the music to. Wouldn’t it be so much easier to just deal with ONE? Did you even think about that?

I’d always remember you as the first person I talked to on our enlistment day. It was such a coincidence that we were seated together, and were in the same section! You were quite the neat freak - you would always sweep the bunk. Remember that one night we were yakking away and were caught by Rudi? And who could forget that fire drill practice! Everyone was in admin, and you? Towel draped around your waist! You were sure f-ed! Haha!
