Was going through my hp.. and guess what I saw? PICS! Taken during my trip overseas. Forgotten abt it. Most of the pics I took was taken using my camera, and not my cam phone.

It's been a bad week so far.. Planned to start running this week, but felt too lazy to on Monday. Come Tuesday night, the same thing. Remembered some time back I ranned almost everyday for two weeks. Tummy went a bit flatter, and my tees and shirts looked great!

Thurs.. planned to play soccer with the guys initially. But my mum it seems has other plans for me. Our old place is in a mess, a buyer has been found, and hence the place needs tidying up. And guess who's going to? Well, me ofc. I'm one of them. Looks like I've to cancel the game. I guess I could meet up with them, after the tidying up, and chill. Been a long time since I last met them. Will see how it goes tml..

Friday.. NE Tour. Bummer! What a waste of time! But luckily don't have to book in back to camp. Go straight. Another night at home. Beats sleeping in the bunk. Haha! Company cohesion after that. Another bummer! Like as if the NE Tour isn't bad enuf a waste of time..! Just can't wait to ride with F there. Offered to pillion me. Wee!

Guess the weekends is the only thing I'm looking forward to this week then.. For one thing, IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! This Sat! Wee to me! Haha! ;)

Just got my hp bill today when I came back from camp. When I opened it, and perused the breakdown of the overseas calls, surprise surprise.. Saw some numbers I DON'T recognize.. Guess I've been conned. Lent a fren my hp, apparently to send sms. Looks like he made some calls without my knowledge..

Sigh.. How do I know who to trust..? And they say I'm selfish? Fucking hell!

I guess credit has to be given when it's due, so congrats F for getting that much coveted badge! I guess that $200 you're gonna get, will make up for the $200 you lost for nothing, back there when we were overseas! Haha!

And for God's sake, blowing your own horn just for getting that? Pleeease.. Just screams 'Amateur'! What's there to boast? Where we are, news spreads fast!

So I guess you can shoot well. But what about with a 16G needle? Can you shoot well with that too? That's the most important thing..

And what abt IPPT? SOC? Hmmm...

Two skaters were fighting for the limelight during the prize presentation ceremony of a competition. Things got pretty bad and turned out into an all-out brawl between the two. The NSFA ruled that the two were to be banned from all future competitions.

A loophole was found, and soon the two were competing again, in the Doubles category. What ensued from there on is the comical antics as to how they went on to win in the category.

Not a VERY funny movie, but funny nonetheless.

Talked to a certain someone for abt an hour ++. Just hunged up. Been a while since we did that. Feels so nice.

Chatted with the same person thru MSN before that. Cleared the air over some stuff. Glad that was done. Thx for making things clearer!

Looking forward to the next long chat, on top of the occasional short ones!

Just checked my hp balance. Used the '2455' function for StarHub. $207! Wow! That's A LOT! Never have I chalked up that much. I was actually expecting it to be much more.. ard $400. Cos of some stories I heard abt roaming. I was using it while I was overseas, so I was pretty much anxious how much the bill would be.

Not as much as I'd expected, but a lot nonetheless. Guess I have to look for some ways to settle that amt. Somehow or rather..

For the moment, just waiting for my bill to arrive. I wonder how's the breakdown..

Had the inaugural medics cohesion on 240507. Held at Chevrons.

Arrived quite late, but luckily in time to take photos.
The food was nice.
Been a while since I played tai tee. Managed to play some flushes and houses!
Swimming and soaking in the pool under the stars was an experience.
Looking forward to the next one.

Got myself a new pair of shoes while I was there! Wee! An adidas Oracle Str CVS II. Was looking for new shoes for some time, and when I saw this one, and counted how much it'd cost back in S$, (~S$50) I knew I just had to have it!

Went to adidas stores at Bugis and Citilink Mall, and couldn't find it here. They had it in the leather version at Citilink. Mine's a canvas one.

Only sad thing was I couldn't keep the box. Apparently I cannot bring a plastic bag into the flight. But I found out later on that I actually can. The limit was one per person, which is exactly what I had. Oh well.. Guess it wasn't meant to be. Sigh..

Next targeted shoes: a pair of Nike Air Force One! :)

Some quirks of the short overseas training stint.

Z is afraid to shower alone. Actually asked me to accompany him shower one night! Was just to be there with him in the shower while he bathe. Unfortunately I was busy.

LD can sleep in a moving vehicle, and all the while be perfectly still. No swaying from side to side whatsoever!

F is no longer a virgin! Lost it for the equivalent of S$200 in the currency over there. Idiot! Could have lost it for so much lesser back home! Haha!

Saving one's life, and free food and drinks can apparently make some people run very very fast!

What lies between life and death is a wall.

Someone I know had his hp switched on throughout the journey on the plane, to and fro. Nothing happened. So much for 'interference'!

This is a sight that won't be seen in Singapore, at least for some time: ppl queueing up nicely in line to board the train.

Speaking of which, when they take the escalator in the train stations, the locals there actually keep to the right of the escalator. Our 'Keep Left' policy could take a leaf or two from them!

I'm back! Back from the short overseas training stint. I was actually back since last Sunday, just that I'm updating now. Was enjoying doing nothing much.

So am I glad to be back? Ofc! Why wouldn't I? Feels so nice to finally be back after what I went through there. All the time I was there, I couldn't help but keep counting down to the time I was due to return.

To be fair though, I enjoyed myself there. Had quite a lot of 'slack' time. The scenery was a change, for one thing. And ofc, the shopping was fun!

Came back to good news. First, my second niece Iin can now crawl and sit up. She wasn't able to when I left.

Next, Levi's Signature is coming to town! Haha! Finally! The S'pore webbie isn't up yet. Should be up soon, I guess.

And last but not least is the arrival of my Fairprice Plus card! It's a cool account, I must say. Imagine not having to pay a $2 surcharge every month just cos there isn't a minimum monthly balance in the account, like what most banks charge. That adds up to $24/year. Don't know how much $24 is worth to some, but is sure is money saved to me!

Some things have happened that I wanted to update abt, but have been too lazy to. So better late than nothing right?

Steals
I've been stealing! Not literally ofc. No way I wanna face the double charges! Urgh!

1st steal: projectshop (psBb) pants. Was at Orchard with 3 of my camp mates. Walking ard at WA after dinner at FEP. Went to psBb, and saw that they were having sales! 50 to 70% off!

Didn't wanna get anything initially, but saw a pair of pants and a shirt. Pants marked down to 50% off and shirt was at $20, which I think was way more than 70%. Just had to have it!

And to think that I did NOT wanna go to Orchard in the first place. Haha..


2nd steal: Creative 2G V100. Was told by someone Creativex at Plaza Sing having a clearance. 1G at $69 and 2G at $99. Wanted to get the 1G at first, but realized that with the 2G model, it's the same as payin $49.50 per G. Way cheaper than buyin the 1G one. So no guessing which one I bought!

In 'MuVo2 FM 5.0GB up and running!' at my fs blog, I said "I'm contented with having a 5GB player, for now". Well, the 5G sorta died on me. Had a hard time downloading songs to it. Too lazy to go IBP again, and wanted an mp3 player that uses AAA batt, so looks like this will be it then. :)

Bag
Will be going away for some time. In a few hours in fact. Am I lookin forward to it? Yes, and no. Well, since I HAVE to go, and there being no two ways abt it, I decided to get myself a bag. Hee.. Doesn't sound related, but oh well..

It's an adidas. 'Bi-tonal TB s' is the model name. Kinda look more like TRI tonal to me. Three shades of gray plus accents of yellow on the zips. So, QUAD tonal?

Wasn't intending the bag for the trip per se.. was getting sick of the issued flimsy bag I was using all this while. So the trip gave me a reason to justify buyin the bag.. :)

Meet ups
Wanted to meet some of my frens up before leaving. 3 in particular. Managed to meet up with only 1. Had a blast!

Cancelled at the last minute for 1, and the last one, somehow it just wasn't meant to be that we meet, for now. Oh well. Looking forward to it when I come back..

A 4th asked me out for lunch. Wanted to go so much actually, but haven't pack my stuff at that point in time. Been a while since I met up with him. When I come back too k, A? The nasi ayam penyet sound so tempting the way u described it. Haha!

Deaths
Two men were killed in an industry blast at a certain island off Singapore. Was in the news today. Thou I don't know them at all, my condolences goes out to the families of both. Somehow there's a link between them and me.

A Chinese funeral procession is going on in the background as I'm typing this entry. Saw a few already at my old place. My first at this place.

Countdown to nth hour
It's now 2230. In abt an hour and a half's time, I'll be on the way to the airport. It seems like only yest that a fren n me were talking abt this, at a certain gate. Was telling me he was looking forward to this. Cos after this would be more relaxed. Guess that makes two then.

Well I guess that's a wrap for now. This spot will be like a ghost town for the next 2 weeks or so.. Just so you know & fyi.

Met up with I yesterday. The plan was to have lunch, talk and maybe walk ard a bit. It ended up with lunch, nevertheless, but me eating alone. Try as I might, I still ate alone! Talked definitely and walked ard too. Nearly didn't meet up though. Initially wanted to go snapping and shopping. Would have obliged, if not for the time constraint. If it's of any consolation, we did do some window shopping, right? And liking brands DOESN'T equate to being high maintenance. Haha! Took some photos, like the last meet ups. Took more this time. And this time, there were much rare photos! ;)

Enjoyed your company, I! Thx for accompanying me. How's it like ur first time to that plaza? Fun? So when's the snapping and shopping? When I come back? Looking forward to it! :)

Been trying twice, and both times I failed. But I was close enough on the first attempt, though. How I wish I had told the truth. Then maybe it'd have been a success. Sigh.. Guess it'll happen in a more structured, and not an ad-hoc way then. :)
