Was IVed. Been quite some time since. Quite nice. Felt a lil giddy afterwards. Guess it was the rush of blood to the brain when someone gets too anxious, too soon. Laid on the 'bed' for some time to regain my composure..

After which, it was my turn to IV him! Quite surprised I managed to get in though, seeing how his hand and vein was. Hah! I pulled the thing too slowly afterwards. Blood spurted out. Sorry for that! :)

Met with Isa, Amzar, Adib and Nazmi. The occasion was a thank you treat for helping out during Boyz Camp. The rest had it last Mon itself, immediately after packing up. As I already went back home, cos my place's super nearby, I wasn't there. Had mee kuah at Golden Mile Food Centre.

It was nice meeting up with Isa. He just finished his 10 day confinement at HTA. Laughed at his funny anecdotes during training. I guess the most fun part was making fun of how he has to book in at 2045, whereas it's 2230 for me! Get use to it, recruit! Hah!

Planned to lepak a while at Esplanade, but it was cancelled. Road blocks abound. National Day rehearsal. Funny seeing soldiers in their smart 4s wearing the luminous traffic warden vest, directing traffic! :D

Looking at the pics of the Boyz Camp makes me miss being there. I guess there's something abt being with nature. And also, taking a breather once in a while, amidst the busy schedule, what with the concrete jungle Singapore is. And not forgetting, spending time with close friends. Here's looking forward to next year's Boyz Camp! Or whatever it'll be called.

Was awaiting my turn to get a haircut yesterday. A Malay auntie was asking abt the different kinds of hairstyles. She brought her two sons. When done with the questions abt haircuts, the topic came to be abt me. The usual.. age, where I live, what am I doing that kinda thing. Funny thing was after askin where I live. Somehow I gave her the impression that I'm married, and living in my own place! Shocked, I asked if whether I look like I'm married. Her reply? Possible, cos youngsters (and I think she meant Malays in particular) nowadays are now marrying at a younge age.

So I look like I'm already married huh.. Cool? Maybe. Hah!

A non-eventful one this week. Sure felt good booking in on Monday night! Arrived at 2245. Hah! Sorry F n H. I went back myself. And if I do that, it'll take me abt an hour. And you called me ard the time I was going out. Should have called earlier. Then I could do you both that favour.

Failed my SOC, again! Thx though, F, for pacing me. I guess when you're not in the right frame of mind, nothing's possible. L told me abt the power of prayer, and how human strength alone isn't enough. I should give it a try. Been 'bad' for some time. Heh. Been giving it some thought: my timing's always hovering ard the 11min+ region. Maybe during the next one, I should burst all out. Tiring, but who knows.. maybe a pass in within grasp. :)

It's a full house! Never thought I'd be able to see this, but I am. Kinda cool the feeling. 2 seniors (this includes me! Wee!), 2 juniors and 2 training. But kinda suck when early in the morning, they recite the Core Values. An automatic alarm clock, another way to see it. Hah!

Yay! BLSS's having a 30th Anniversary! All alumni invited! Want to go so much. Just bad luck I'm away at a certain island doing a certain something on that date. What bad timing. I wonder which is the one that's bad timing? The celebration or the other thing?

Lemme guess.. Hmm.. The other thing! Haha!

Boyz Camp '07 was fun! Enjoyed myself being there. The best part was that only participants slept in the tents. Not facilitators. So that ups the enjoyment factor. Haha! I'm allowed to have my own opinions, right? :P

Was riding on Izat's bike. In gear 4, doing abt 70 or so. When out of nowhere, he appeared and zoomed past me. Was wobbly when he did that. Thank God nothing happened. But in retrospect, if somehing DID happened, it'd be good too. Considering I'd be on MC. At least I DON'T have to be in camp. Hee!

Amy topped up his bike petrol and I followed. Sure was nice feeling the night breeze, what with zooming on the bike and all. And we both know now where the PCG Lim Chu Kang Station is. Heh!

But I guess the part I enjoyed most is spending a Sunday night away from camp. Took a day off so that I can stay throughout the whole of the Camp. Wee!

And the refundable deposit - what a waste of $0.30!

No.. not F4 as in the boyband, but as in Fantastic 4. Fantastic 4: Rise Of The Silver Surfer, to be exact. A nice show, but a little anti-climax if you ask me. Silver Surfer ISN'T the villain. He works FOR the villain. Who exactly IS the villain? Some being who eats up planets to sustain itself. Not even a name is given to it!

And at the end of the day, the SS is the hero instead. In an act of self-sacrifice, he spontaneously combusted himself, while the being was in the middle of eating up planet Earth. To be fair, the F4 did rescue the SS while he was in military custody, as only he knew how to stop the being.

And yes, Mr Fantastic DID get married to the Invisible Lady in this show.

Oops. I think I've said too much. Heh!

Batman has been enlisted! Most probably, he came with his dad, Suparman, which is very, very similar in spelling to another superhero. No prizes for guessing which. And maybe probably too, he came with his mum in tow? Maybe her name's Wonderwoman? Haha! I know I'm being bad, but just can't help it. I mean.. come on.. 'Batman'? Sheesh..

Met up with Amy at Aman just now. Been a long time I met him. The last I saw him was at his camp when I sent a case.

Was walking to the rear entrance when a motorbike went past me, with the rider looking at me. Looking back at him, I saw him smiling. Amy! I realised. Talked for a while, took ablution, and listened to the sermon.

Too bad didn't pray side by side. Would be great if we did. Miss those days when the guys prayed together. We were separated by someone. So it's like me, someone on my right, and Amy beside the someone. It wasn't that bad I guess.

On the way back, bumped into someone I knew from medic course days. Super slack life he's having. Good for him. I can't complain much. Mine's not as good as his, but not as bad either. Heh.

Amy offered a ride back home. Talked abt my overseas experiences on the way. Nice day it turned out so far! :)

Went to the camp I was attached to for my medic course just now. Not for a refresher or anything, but cos of smthg la.. On the way there in the bus, called most of my former platoon mates. Turns out that most of them who stayed on there were clearing either their leaves or offs. But fortunately one wasn't, and was in camp. So after the 'smthg' was done, went up to his room to catch up.

Walking ard the camp to go to his room brought back sweet memories indeed. Memories of the time I was on course. Had so much fun then. For one thing, when having lessons at the training sheds, birds chirping could be heard. Or monkeys swinging from tree to tree could be seen. How cool is that?

It sure was fun catching up with him. Talked abt the gool old days. Like how someone's R6 was 'mummified'! Haha! Continued talking on the way home in 169. Casually mentioned abt a reunion. We'll see how it goes.

Seek Save Serve!

I've just been issued a challenge by a certain someone.. that is to get < 9min (cos his is 9.09), and gold for my SOC and IPPT respectively. The reward for meeting the challenge? Tees. Not any tees, but certain special ones that would mean a lot to me. Do I want to take it up? I sure do, but not at THIS moment in time. It's kinda too late and too short a time frame to shape up for those standards. Maybe after July, when the time's a bit more conducive.

It may not be much.. just some tees. But the way I look at it, if I get it, and look back at them after my current chapter of life, it's sure to bring back sweet memories. Memories of getting standards that I've never bothered to aim for, standards that I never thought I could achieve. And also for some personal reasons. Heh.

Till then, it's running and running and MORE running. To get to those standards! And tees! Hah!

When someone you know is in pain, and when you look back and realize that you could actually have done something abt it, but didn't, it sucks, doesn't it?

I guess when's all been said and done, there's no use crying over spilled milk..

The first full week after so long. Not a bad one. Started running on Mon, and carried on till Tue. Started feeling lazy to on Wed, and then it went spiralling downwards from there. 2/4 isn't so bad. I think. Heh. Got myself rope burnt. Arrgh! Ouch!

Went to makan with the usual on Fri. At the usual place. Had Lor Mee. Just had the urge for smthg Chinese. Went to psBb after that, and got myself a long sleeved shirt from them. $20, marked down from I don't know how much. Not bad.

Accompanied Izat to get an mp3 player on Sun. For some reasons, he needed it urgently. Went to Plaza Sing. It feels so tempting to get myself a Zen Microphoto too! Heh! Isa was there as well. Had fun going out with them. Been some time since I met up with the guys. Sure was a blast! Went to CreativeX, Fila and ate at LJS at PS, Gucci, psBb and Sony Gallery at Paragon, Topman and psBb at Wisma, and finally Zara at Liat Towers.

Went to psBb Wisma, AGAIN, and got myself some shirts, AGAIN! Hah! Spent $20, AGAIN, but this time it was on two short sleeved shirts. $10 for each is definitely a bargain! The GSS is a blessing! A God sent! Heh.

I know I promised to update abt my bday, but this weekend was another busy one of sorts . Till next week? :D

Congrats to my friend S! He just got a raise in his pay. Was worried abt not getting it, after some incidents which happend to him lately. But he got it in the end. Good for him!

Which made me realise how better my life is, really. I guess I should be thankful. Though things didn't really went the way I wanted, it did turned out for the best. Ameen.

Received an email from someone I've not been receiving for quite a looong time now. Dunno why, but I'm guessing it's bcos of something I did the last time. If things are what I'm guessing it is, looks like I can look forward to receiving more mails soon! :)

It was quite a tiring tour today. Usually it isn't. It's the first weekday tour for me. Quite a chore, really. I only get a point for it, when I get two for weekends. Looks like I'll be doing more tours next next month I guess.

For one thing, there's this guy who keeps asking for keys, but never signing it out. Promised to sign them out when he's done. Kept me worrying abt it almost the whole day. He did, in the end, which's good.

I guess on the bright side, there's more ppl to talk cock and sing song with on weekdays. That makes it up for doing it on a weekday.

I find it funny that the numbers keep increasing.. When in fact, not many ppl know abt it.. I just can't help but wonder who else knows, and most importantly, how do they get to know abt it? Hmmm..
