No, it's not Microsoft I'm referring to. It's Mas Selamat. The guy who somehow managed to escape from detention!
I think by now, the WHOLE world has heard of him, going by that Interpol has issued a world-wide notice thingy, or watever it is called in police parlance.
I was watching The History Channel juz now, and it was abt this guy Pablo Escobar, a drug cartel boss in Spain I think. I forgot where. The authorities there had a hard time nabbing him. A lot of ppl were killed trying to capture him, of which 160 were enforcement officers. Pity them and their families who were left behind.
In the end, it was his own doing that turned him in. As he was calling and talking to his son, the polizei, using signal homing devices, were able to triangulate his position by following the signal strength. Bullets were shot, and he was killed, by a bullet to his head, if I'm not wrong.
Watching de docu, it felt like de whole thing happening in real life, the whole MS thing. A lot of ppl are involved. The SOC, Army, Gurkhas and who ever else not shown on de press. I pity them, looking at the photos in de papers.
In de news on Ch5 yest, the MHA Minister was speaking to de press abt de efforts to nab MS. He said smthg abt 'our reputation taking a beating, but we will do all de best we can'. Not word for word here, but along the lines of that. He looked like he was tearing, but holding it back. Pity him too.
I certainly hope that in de effort to capture him, no one gets killed, like what happened to those enforcement officers in de effort to nab Pablo Escobar.

Nice pic, no? :)
