It all started with someone saying to a grp mate that he's going to a certain hosp for his Clinical. So after takin in some air (hehe), off I went to de library to check out my posting. And lo and behold, I'm going to NUH! Aaarrgghh! Not exactly de place I was hoping for lah!
My other grp mates arrived, and I told them that Clinical posting is out. Being excited, they went to check too. Then it was quite a big hoo-ha over who's going where. There were cheers, and there were jeers too. So not everybody got what they wanted too, I guess.
Funny thing happened when I was checking de posting. Bumped into CGR. Not bumped lah. He was there beside me all de way, but I didn't realise it. Funny, right? Only when he looked up did I realise it was him! Haha! Had fun catching up with him over de guys. Some are in ITE, some in NTU (wow!). Every1's going their own ways lah. But just a few mths back, we were all wearing green, serving - not out of our goodwill thou - our beloved country. LOL! Quite nice to be able to do, finally. So ya.. :)
After much catching up, I had to leave. Cos initially wanted to discuss abt Foundation project. So went to sit with my sub grp. When PQ returned M's lappie, it was back to Clinical posting! It wasn't mentioned what KIND of ward we're going to, so out of de blue, I had de idea to call and ask them. Which I DID.
I stretched de truth a lil bit (no, I didn't lie. it's diff. it just is lah. haha!) and said that an uncle of mine is warded to ward 5G. Cos that's what it was stated in de posting. I was told I may have got it wrong, so I said ward 58, which is de other ward stated in de posting. And guess what, it's an oncology ward! Both of them. Yup, that's right, cancer. Sigh..
Told every1 who's also going there, and it seems their main concern is that of contagiousness. A valid point lah. It's cancer, after all, right? I'm worried too. Sigh..
