First of all, let me brush away de dust, spiderwebs, cobwebs and what not. It's been some time since I posted anything. Haha!
SHS's National Day cum Nurses Day Celebrations
On de 6 Aug, SHS had this National cum Nurses Day celebrations thingy. Quite a lot of SHS students were on de ball and wore red. This wear red on 6 Aug thing was an initiative of de SHS Academic Club. Cool idea. I remember eating at McD that day, and quite a lot of seats were in red. It was almost as if those who wear red were on one side, and those not wearing red, some other place. De celebrations was alright. Some lecturers danced, got pledge taking and singing of national anthem. So sec sch lah pledge n anthem! Haha! 7 female lecturers did a dance. To a Hindi song! Cool or what sia! Some very enthu, some blank faced, and de rest dunno what else to say. And I dunno what other things they had for de celebrations. Cos as soon as they say de food was ready, a few frens n me made a beeline for it. N after we ate, we left. Cos we were only there for de food. Haha!
So many cakes, n I only got to eat a little. Which is no big, cos sesly, de food was so much better Haha!

This has to be de highlight of this yr. For some reason I forgot why, de Chinese consider de number 8 to be a lucky number. And hence on this day, some got married, some got engaged, those who were born on this day made it to de news on TV and so on..
Closer to heart, congrats to Abg Hafiz who got married, and Idah for getting engaged!
Abg Hafiz n wifey, who happens to be a nurse at KK. On de way back to de guy's side, de nurse frens were talking. Ward politics. Haha!

Lepak-ing with Bik Comel n A'an on Sat during rewang. Nvr before seh lepak with an aunt. Cool! And for this vid, my cousin not used to using SE phones I guess, cos his is a Nokia. So that's why it's shot like this. But look at how confidently A'an opened de box and took out de cig from it. I wonder where he learnt it from? Hehehe..!
NDP 08
This yr, I didn't catch de NDP. Cos I was helping out at Abg Hafiz's wedding. I so wanted to watch it lah. But only de parade n de SPDS. De rest nvr watch, nvm one. Haha! N I was so confident that de repeat telecast would be this coming Sat. But it turns out de repeat telecast was on de very next Sun. So there goes NDP 08! But nvm. Cos it was so much more fun helping out. Been some time since met up with all de cuzzies lah! :)
Besides de fireworks, I very much much wanted to see this. Nice, right?
And so sorry to some of my frens. I didn't mean to pang seh u guys lah. I also wanted to go see fireworks. But then was helping out with my cousin's wedding mah.. Next yr we go see, k? :)
