This happened last Sat/Sun, but better late then never, right?
A spur of the moment thing led to a whole night of fun. First off, shared $$$ to buy spring chicken and fries. I wouldn't say it's filling, sharing with so many, but I guess de fun's in de sharing itself.
It's then off to exploring a certain somewhere. It wasn't locked, surprisingly, so walked ard abit. Was told a few things abt de place, and decided to take a look for ourselves.
A certain complication had us on our feet for a while, and we were discussing how to best rectify de situation. Many calls were made and received, and many possible solutions were thought of. But in de end, it was ok.
Had fun talking, abt everything and nothing in particular. Particularly fun was talking abt Desperate Housewives and Heroes! And my futre school. And spotting each others' verball gaffes! How can I forgot abt THAT? The current score, zero for me! Hahahahaha!
The main event itself went well, I should say. Sure there was a few minor glitches, but not major ones. I enjoyed watching The Kingdom, again. Again? Yup! Watched it on youku on Fri night, but this time ard, there were Eng subs for the Arab dialogue, so it was like, 'Oh.. so that's what it means'.. when I watched it this time round.
I got over my fears that day! I shall leave it at that lah.. 'Nuf said! ;)
Alhamdulillah, my ABSD-inspired feedback forms got rave reviews. Smthg I take from my Army days. That, and zip lock bags. Any more practical things I can think of, I'll add to the list, aight? Lol! I was so eager/anxious/nervous abt how de results would turn out, I went to collate de data straight away! Kinda pissed someone off doing that, but sorry dude.. it was like my baby lah.. You did a great job compering the Ibtidai segment, I must say. *bsmile*
The results were interesting and encouraging, to say the least. The number of students choosing Agree and Slightly agree for the first ques was like a 'wah' moment lah. Lemme get it.. "The only good thing about today was that we got to watch The Kingdom for free, and there was no lessons". Out of 56, 34 - 60% of them - chosed Agree or Slightly agree. So very de 'Wah!', right? Ofc, there were ppl who chose ALL Agree, or Neutral or whatever. It can either mean they REALLY mean it, or they just bo chap. Oh well.. Benefit of the doubt here..
And not forgetting de open-ended qns. One in particular I found funny is "It was a good session, but I would have like to complete the movie". I dunno who that person is, but if I knew, I'd have one word to say to him/her: youku! Haha!
Hmm.. lets see what's next.. Oh yes, free nasi lemak! Lol! Lazy to elaborate, suffice to say that it was nice. But kinda not enuf. Tamak seh aku! Hehe.
It was then off to Raimah for a talk-cock and sing-song session. And more of spotting each others' verbal gaffes! Prata kosooong! The kosong goes off in a higher pitch here, just so u can imagine how it went, for those not there, and many other gaffes. That, and a CSI-like post mortem of how de event went.
All said and done, we then head back home.
Here's looking forward to the next one, then! *BSMILE!*
