My Student Card n my Tertiary Student concession card.
I know I said it's full circle I'm a student now in an earlier post, so I guess with my Student card, that circle is now bold-ed? Haha!
A fren asked y I nvr smiled when I took de photo! It's just a habit of mine when taking photos lah. Cos sometimes photographers never countdown when they snap, and I end up with a fake, forced smile. So rather than faking one, might as well I NOT smile, right?
It's smthg of a double-edged sword, my Student Card. On one hand, now it's a must to scan my Card for lectures. So no more getting away with de 'havent get my card yet' reasoning.
On de other hand, it's like a 'passport' of sorts to cool stuff also lah.
Hmm.. for one thing, going to polyCLINIC will cost less now. When de need arises lah, which I hope not in de near future. Heh.
I can now go swim in de NYP pool. No more paying $0.90/1.00 entry for SSC swimming pool. Save money!
Then there's de Citi Clear Card. I'm not working yet, so no such thing as 2x my monthly salary, but I think $500 is good enuf. For those 'just in case' moments. And maybe also for those impulse buys? Those 'just must have it NOW' moments? *Evil laughter*
And ofc the holy grail of it all is de conversion of my StarHub mobile plan to de Student plan lah! Been waiting for it man! 1000 sms to ANY number, and 200min talktime (I think so), and for de same price as that of PowerValue 100. Great value, right?
Can't wait to maximise my student status! HAHA!
Speaking of being a student, it's now 2 weeks into sch. Already! How's it been? OK lah.. But seriously thou, not getting enuf sleep sure sucks. Been sleeping late of late this week. It started with sleeping late on Mon, I think. And it's a downward spiral fr there. Went to sch sleepy on Tue. Got home, 'short nap' ended up being quite a long one. Then I can't sleep. So went to sch sleepy on Wed. So on n so forth. Bah! Mental note: Defly got to get my sleep next week.
